After being linked with other Premier League strikers this summer, Sdna.Gr report Leicester City’s Islam Slimani is the likeliest to join Olympiacos.
The Greek club have been linked with Slimani throughout this transfer window and Sdna say he is their priority at this stage.
It’s expected the Algeria international will leave Leicester City this summer and Olympiacos are said to be leading the chase for him. Last season he was loaned out to Turkish side Fenerbahce, and it didn’t go according to plan.
There have been previous reports the Greek giants are looking at other options if they fail to land Slimani, with Southampton striker Guido Carrillo and Napoli’s Carlos Vinicius both linked with a move to Greece.
Slimani scored just one league goal whilst on loan with Fenerbahce and he’s looking to make a fresh start next season. His career has gone backwards after signing for the Foxes in 2016 from Sporting.
The 31 year old is under contract with Leicester until June 2021.
