Linked with Inter and Napoli this week, Ayoze Perez, it seems, would rather move back to Spain if he can.
He’s openly admitted as much, and there is a club ready to welcome him in Real Betis, according to Estadio Deportivo.
Already wanting to sign the 25-year-old last year, the La Liga club were turned down by Perez, who wanted to remain in England and was asking for wages the club couldn’t pay.
Twelve months later, Real Betis are still keen, although they are aware they face a lot of competition, especially from the aforementioned Italian clubs, both currently in Champions League spots in Serie A.
Newcastle are said to want at least €20m on the table before they open talks for their star forward, with the club aiming to get ten times more than what they originally signed him for back in 2014.
It seems Real Betis really have their work cut out from a football perspective, but it could be they have an advantage, all depending on how badly Perez missed his home country.
