Last summer, AC Milan allowed Andre Silva go out on loan to Sevilla.
The Portugal international had a good start to his spell in La Liga, scoring eight goals before the end of September. Since then the striker has added four more goals to his overall tally and his last goal came in January.
According to Calciomercato, Sevilla are unwilling to pay €39m to sign the frontman on a permanent deal, which is why he will return to the San Siro after his loan spell.
Milan are clear the 23-year-old has no future at the club, and they have an agreement that Jorge Mendes will find a new club for his client.
The Serie A outfit want to make capital gain from Silva’s sale, which is why they have ‘approached’ Wolverhampton Wanderers, Valencia and AS Monaco to offer their player to them in the past few weeks.
Meanwhile, reports in France claim Milan are interested in Marseille winger Florian Thauvin and Calciomercato explain they could also offer Silva as a part of the deal to reduce the transfer fee.
Given Wolves recently sealed the permanent signing of Raul Jimenez, this doesn’t seem a very attractive opportunity for them.
