Everton are once again linked to the Espanyol striker Borja Iglesias today.
As El Desmarque lists three La Liga strikers who have been attracting heavy interest ahead of the summer transfer market, they mention the 26-year-old as one of them.
Iglesias has 14 goals in 33 appearances for the Catalan side this season, and his agent has already admitted the attention he’s been getting from foreign clubs.
Two clubs are named by El Desmarque, which are Everton and Valencia. The sides are said to be attracted by the player’s release clause, which is only €28m.
El Desmarque claims that Everton ‘would multiple his salary by four’, so that’s certainly an advantage for the Toffees in case they have to fight for the player.
The same isn’t said of Valencia, who had him for three years as a youth player.
Iglesias’ 11 La Liga goals this season are of great value, since he had been playing in the second division for Mallorca in 2017/18.
