Last summer, Napoli allowed Roberto Inglese to join Parma on a season-long loan deal.
The Serie A outfit have scored 28 goals in the league this term and the striker has been directly involved in just over 30 percent of those, netting eight times and registering one assist.
His contract with Carlo Ancelotti’s side will run down in 2022, but his stay with his parent club beyond this season remains uncertain, if reports are to be believed.
Journalist Ciro Venerato told Rai TV’s ‘Calcio e Mercato’ program (as relayed by areanapoli.it) that West Ham United and Atalanta are after the Italian frontman.
Venerato claims that Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis has set a minimum price of €20m to start the negotiations for Inglese and his time at the Naples-based club is expected to come to an end after this campaign.
The report doesn’t mention if either West Ham or Atalanta are favourites to land Inglese in the summer.
