Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell has not yet made a decision on his future, sources tell Sport Witness.
Reports in England claim the left-back has emerged as a target for Manchester City after Pep Guardiola admitted his side could bring in a player in that position due to Benjamin Mendy missing so many matches.
It was also explained the Foxes would only consider parting ways with the England international if they receive an offer in excess of the £75m Liverpool paid Southampton to sign Virgil van Dijk.
In October 2018, the defender signed a long-term contract with the Premier League outfit and his current deal at the King Power Stadium runs down in 2024.
The 22-year-old is focused on the remaining matches of this season and there’s ‘nothing decided’ on his future. Sources also tell Sport Witness the English champions have not made contact to probe the possibility of signing Chilwell in the summer.
Chilwell has started in 30 games in all competitions for Leicester this season.
