Former Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini is looking for a new club, after his departure from the Emirates.
Several clubs have been linked to the French midfielder, but a move to Crystal Palace is a big talking point in the media.
According to French website Foot Sur 7, Flamini is on the verge of signing for Crystal Palace. Foot Sur 7 say Flamini is in talks with the representatives of the South London club.
The 32-year-old isn’t thinking of retirement or playing outside Europe yet, and he wants to continue his career in England.
AS Rome are also reportedly keen on Flamini, but he is likely to sign for Crystal Palace, it’s been reported. Flamini could link up with fellow countrymen Cabaye in the Crystal Palace midfield should he sign for them in the coming days.
Alan Pardew would ideally want to wrap up the transfer before the end of the international break, and it remains to be seen if the deal could be completed soon.
