Of all the claims on Wolfsburg interest in Son Heung-Min, the most reliable from a German perspective are likely to be from the Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper, commonly known as WAZ.
In their Tuesday newspaper, WAZ say that Wolfsburg continue to have Son in their sights. Despite other media claims of a €30m bid being made and rejected, WAZ say Wolfsburg’s offer is instead €22m.
Tottenham Hotspur are said to want €30m, and Wolfsburg haven’t got to that figure yet, meaning a difference of €8m.
WAZ believe the final answer on a possible transfer, either way, is only to come as the transfer window closes.
