After reports Wolverhampton Wanderers are looking to sell their midfielder Christian Herc to Russian club Spartak Moscow, the Slovakian youngster has spoken in his home country about a potential move.

The 20 year old midfielder, who spent two years in the Wolves academy after arriving in 2015, is currently on loan at Slovakian club DAC Dunajska Streda and is performing well this season.

His team currently sit 2nd place in the league and Herc has scored three goals and provided three assists in 18 games for the club.

Speaking to Sport Aktuality, Herc said joining Spartak Moscow is a move he would be open to: “Well, playing in the Premier League would be great, this is certainly the ideal scenario for me. But it will be tough right now because I don’t think I will be able to play straightaway in the middle of the season.”

He added: “I’ve heard about the Spartak interest, there were articles on the internet, but I can’t tell you more about this. I have no idea if it’s true or just speculation. And although there is a big winter in Russia, I definitely would be looking forward to joining such a big club with that name.”

With the uncertainty over his future at Wolves, Herc may need to move and find a club which can give him more chances.

Herc is under contract at Wolves until June 2020.
