The most obvious choice would be their midfielder Thiago Mendes, yet there’s also the possibility Adama Soumaoro, their captain and centre-back, could be one of the sacrificial lambs, with Crystal Palace reportedly interested.
This is what Le10 Sport are reporting in their monthly magazine, claiming the Eagles are among a list of clubs keen on the 26-year-old, who has been given the green light for a January move if someone comes knocking with an interesting offer.
As things stand, that doesn’t appear to have happened yet, but selling the centre-back to a Premier League for a potentially inflated price could help them bring two players in, for example.
