Italian newspaper La Nazione doesn’t bring good updates on Wolverhampton Wanderers’ chase for the Napoli midfielder Amadou Diawara today.
According to the outlet, the player has rejected an offer he’s received from Wolves.
It’s claimed that his wish is to stay in Italy, where he would be giving his preference to Fiorentina, knowing it would be easier to get more minutes there.
A problem for La Viola is that they are interested in getting Diawara on a loan deal, while Napoli’s wish is to sell the player immediately.
Fiorentina’s plans are the same as reported by Tuttosport last week.
At the time, the newspaper claimed that Wolverhampton had a different intention, which would be to get Diawara with a permanent transfer or a loan with a buying option.
So maybe that’s how the Premier League side can have more chances in the race, although it’s been claimed that Napoli want €40m for a deal.
