Having signed Firmin Mubele in the summer of 2017, Rennes loaned the forward to Toulouse for the second half of the last season.
Earlier in the summer, the deal was made permanent and the 24-year-old has made 10 appearances in all competitions this season, which includes three starts in the league.
With just less than 450 minutes on the pitch, the DR Congo international could be heading for another exit, a year later after he joined the Ligue 1 side.
Friday’s edition of L’Equipe claims Mubele is attracting interest from several clubs like Huddersfield Town, Club Brugge, Fortuna Düsseldorf and Turkish outfit Bursaspor.
So far, there are few details mentioned regarding the type of interest from David Wagner’s side nor as to how the Premier League side would be looking to sign him in January.
Any approach for the Terriers will see them face competition from aforementioned clubs. L’Equipe also does not mention if the Toulouse player has made a decision on his future.
However, the French newspaper explains Bursaspor have a plan to take Mubele on loan for 18 months.
