Milliyet’s Besiktas journalist Serdar Saridag claims the club are interested in signing Fabri in this window, but the Turkish side face competition from Leeds United to sign the Fulham goalkeeper.
In recent weeks, we covered claims from Turkey that Fabri has been receiving interest from the Championship club, who would provide competition to Bailey Peacock Farrell.
Saridag says Fabri is looking to leave Fulham just six months after leaving Besiktas but the Istanbul club must beat Leeds United and Rayo Vallecano to secure his signature.
The Whites are said to ‘want him so much’, and are seen are serious competition.
It’s also claimed Besiktas are looking to part ways with their second choice goalkeeper Tolga Zengin and are hoping to replace him with Fabri.
The Spanish goalkeeper has played just two Premier League games for Fulham this season and in recent months has been excluded from the matchday squad.
Fabri is under contract at Craven Cottage until 2021.
