Munir El Haddadi has started only once for Barcelona, while he has six more appearances from the bench in the league.
The 23-year-old’s current deal at Camp Nou will expire next summer and so far, he’s not signed a new deal, which has seen him draw attention from clubs in Spain and across Europe.
Monday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo claims that West Ham United are one of the clubs following the forward as Manuel Pellegrini’s side are watching how his situation will evolve with the Blaugrana.
The Hammers are not the only club keeping an eye on the player as Marseille and Schalke have also joined them, while AS Roma and Napoli have shown the ‘most interest’ in the attacker.
Having spent two seasons on loan at Valencia and Alaves since 2016, he wants his employer to treat him better and offer more minutes. 
Munir’s contract situation with Barca creates difficulties, and he could find himself in the stands if he refuses to renew, but not played anyway even if he puts pen to paper.
Should he decide against extending his contract at Barcelona and if West Ham are interested to sign him, the Premier League side will have to face tough competition for Munir’s signature.
