Italian newspaper Tuttosport have a small snippet in their Wednesday edition covering what they call a longing for Pedro Obiang to return to Italian football.
Tuttosport don’t exactly make it clear who is the one doing the longing, whether it be the West Ham midfielder, or the club who would like to sign him.
Signed last summer from Sampdoria there have been repeated rumours in the Italian media that Obiang could be making a quick return.
Despite being born in Spain, Obiang joined the Sampdoria youth set-up in 2008 and he stayed there until the move to London last year.
Whilst with Sampdoria, Obiang got to know manager Siniša Mihajlović. The coach left Sampdoria in 2015 and then went to AC Milan, before now ending up at Torino.
And it’s Torino who Obiang is linked to by Turin newspaper Tuttosport.
