Just like Eliaquim Mangala, Samir Nasri doesn’t appear to be a part of Pep Guardiola’s plans this season.

The French attacking midfielder arrived at preseason with weight issues, and despite the Spanish manager since stating he was impressed with some of his training performances, a move away from the north of England is expected.

The problem is, as is the case for most Manchester City players, his wages are rather hefty, and Manchester City, still seeing some ability there, are reportedly asking for €20m. Nasri

At least, that’s what France Football are reporting in their weekly magazine on Tuesday, as they say Lazio, AC Milan and AS Roma are hesitant to match the club’s asking price, considering their limited finances and all.

Of course, the Turkey option, as was reported last week by L’Equipe, is always an option, but you have to think Nasri would want something more competitive, in one of the bigger leagues, if he could.

Then again, beggars can’t be choosers, and if we end up with a transfer deadline day situation, a move to Turkey might suddenly become very attractive, especially as Besiktas play in the Champions League.
