Not done bolstering their attack, Huddersfield are on the verge of signing Belgium U21 international Isaac Mbenza from Montpellier.
According to the Ligue 1 side’s manager, Michel Der Zakarian, the deal is pretty much done and RMC Sport in France add the whole thing should cost the Terriers somewhere around €15m.
During his time with the French team, the attacker made 59 appearances, scoring 13 goals and picking up three assists.
Primarily a right-winger prior to the last campaign, Mbenza was also used as a centre-forward during the 2017-18 season when Der Zakarian chose to employ a five at the back formation in certain games.
The youngster will be Huddersfield’s third attacking signing of the summer, having also brought in Ramadan Sobhi from Stoke and Adama Diakhaby from AS Monaco.
