Brazilian side Fluminense are apparently in a hurry to get their part of the money from Richarlison’s recent transfer from Watford to Everton.
On Friday, outlet Globo Esporte claims that Flu will soon be in touch with the Toffees so they can get a copy of the transfer contract.
The Brazilian club are interested in knowing the details of how much will they get with the transfer, and how the payment will be made.
Besides getting a percentage for being Richarlison’s youth club, Fluminense also have the right to get 10% of Watford’s profit from the sale. This agreement was made when the player moved to the Hornets last year.
Globo Esporte claims that Richarlison’s move from Watford to Everton was closed for £45m (€50m). As the Hornets paid €12.5m to take him from Brazil, there was a profit of €37.5m, giving Fluminense the right to €3.75m.
The Brazilian club now want to confirm this number and see if the payment will be made in one go or in different instalments. Their intention is to use this money to pay debt off on another transfer.
