Football agent Silvio Pagliari claims Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain ‘will go’ to Chelsea, while the Blues frontman Alvaro Morata will be joining AC Milan this summer.
Pagliari, who manages Southampton forward Manolo Gabbiadini and a few other players, believes the Turin club’s attacker will move to the Premier League.
“According to me, Higuain will go to Chelsea, while Morata will close with Milan,” Pagliari told Sky Italia, as quoted by ilBiancoNero.
The front page of today’s edition of Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claims the South American player is likelier to move to the San Siro, while Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci would in turn rejoin the Old Lady.
The Spain international, on the other hand, will continue with the English club.
Sky Italia also claim Milan contacted Chelsea to discuss Morata. The Serie A side found the Blues’ demand of €70m for their player as ‘very high’.
It’s not unusual for unconnected agents to give their opinions on transfers to the Italian media, but it’s interesting that Pagliari’s claims on Chelsea transfers contrast to what is being reported elsewhere in Italy today.
