Brahim Diaz is a young man on a mission.
Manchester City’s extremely talented 18 year old has big aims for the future and doesn’t want to go the same way some of his colleagues have.
Mundo Deportivo have an interview with the youngster in their Sunday edition, and make it clear he has ‘numerous offers’ to leave the English club this summer.
The Catalan newspaper are clearly impressed with the youngster and say that not only is he one of the best prospects at City, he’s also one of the best prospects coming through for Spanish football.
Asked if he’s going to stay or leave this summer, Diaz said: “Yes, we will continue. It is a luxury to learn from the best and to live with them. I want to continue my growth, succeed with City and win titles.”
Asked about possibility going out on loan to sister club Girona for the season, the footballer dismissed it: “No, there’s nothing about loans. I only know that I’m still with City. These are just rumours.”
Asked his aims for the immediate future, the Manchester City youngster added: “To play as much as I can and keep learning. I would like to play more minutes, I am ambitious, and to stay at the club for a long time.
“The goal is to win everything. Both Champions League and Premier League are important goals. In the end, the Champions League is very beautiful but we want to win and give the best of joy to the fans.”
