Marvin Plattenhardt impressed for Hertha Berlin in the 2017/18 season, scoring seven goals and registering six assists in 33 league appearances.
The left-back’s form saw him make it to Joachim Löw’s Germany squad for the 2018 World Cup.
The 26-year-old made his World Cup debut for the 2014 world champions as he started in his side’s 1-0 defeat to Mexico. That was his only appearance in the ongoing Fifa tournament as Germany were eliminated from the group stages of the tournament.
Plattenhardt’s form hasn’t gone unnoticed as he’s attracting interest from England, according to German newspaper Bild. Six clubs from the Premier League are looking at the option of signing the full-back this summer.
New promoted club Fulham have joined Everton, Huddersfield Town, Leicester City, Watford and AFC Bournemouth are in the race to sign Plattenhardt.

A fee of €25m would be enough to make the German club go ‘weak’.
A move away from his current employers will help the defender earn a “big salary” and his transfer will see Hertha see a “big cash flow” into the club. Bild claims €25m should not be an issue for the any of the English clubs to sign Plattenhardt.
