Napoli midfielder Jorginho has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City over the past few months. The Brazil-born Italian international’s future at the club could be resolved with a little help from Real Betis.
According to Sky Italia, the La Liga side’s midfielder Fabian Ruiz is all but set to join Carlo Ancelotti’s side this summer.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been in Rome for the past few days as he was waiting for the deal to be agreed between Napoli and Betis.
The report mentions the final points were resolved between Napoli and Betis, which will now allow Fabian to undergo his medical. The Spaniard’s arrival at the Stadio San Paolo will see them allow Jorginho to finally complete his move to Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola’s side have already reached an agreement with the 26-year-old. Jorginho’s agent admitted at the end of last month that the English champions are “working to satisfy the demands” of Napoli to sign the player.
Sky Italia claims all the three parties involved in the deal want Jorginho to join City this summer.
The two cubs are expected to reach an agreement for Jorginho and the Etihad outfit could make the deal official in the “coming days”.
CalcioNapoli24 also have photographs of Fabian Ruiz arriving for his medical, another sign the deal will be done soon and then the Jorginho one can follow.
