Earlier today we covered reports from the Turkish media that Aston Villa and Newcastle United were set for talks with Kasimpasa attacker Trezeguet.
It was claimed the 23 year old has an offer on the table from Turkish giants Galatasaray, but he wants to speak to Newcastle United and Aston Villa before making a decision.
The Turkish press say the player now has ten days to decide if he will be signing for Galatasaray, but new claims in Italy say the Egypt international is close to a move to Parma.
TMW report ‘in the past few hours’ steps forward have been taken on a move to the Italian club, and there’s a ‘good chance’ Trezeguet will sign for Parma.
This comes just hours after the reported interest from Aston Villa and Newcastle United, but the attacker has been linked with a number of clubs already this month.
With a €5m buyout clause this will not be a risk to any club wanting to sign Trezequet this summer, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s linked with other clubs in this window.
