Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City will be done very quickly, according to Le Buteur in Algeria.

We recently covered their latest update on the Leicester City star’s saga, where they revealed the forward was starting to get very annoyed with the Foxes as they appeared to be once again blocking his exit.

There was a difference of around €15m between the two sides, as Manchester City were trying to include Patrick Roberts on top of the €60m they were offering, while Claude Puel’s side were asking for €75m + the young winger.

However, Le Buteur now state the arrival of James Maddison from Norwich for €20m means Leicester don’t need the former Celtic loanee anymore, and will be content receiving €75m for Mahrez, which also suits Pep Guardiola and co.

As for the Foxes’ star being annoyed with his club, that also appears to have been settled, with a board member having spoken to the player and reassured him that his exit would be taking place.

An agreement is now expected to be found ‘in the next few hours’, as Leicester are themselves finding the whole saga tiring, wanting to move onto other things.

If everything goes to plan, Le Buteur reckon this could be made official by the end of the week.
