Manchester United are planning to meet with Alejandro Garnacho’s agents ‘in the next few days’ to discuss a new contract at the club.
That’s according to AS, who say United are keen to sign the youngster to a new deal despite his current contract running out in 2025.
Garnacho is one of a group of highly rated youngsters current in Manchester United’s youth set up, having stared for their Under 18s, U19s and Under 21s in recent years.
It’s believed it won’t be long before he’s a part of the Manchester United senior side full time, having already made five appearances for them with cameos in the Premier League and Europa League.
AS say his displays in the youth set up have not gone unnoticed and several top European clubs and an unnamed Spanish club have ‘already shown interest in him’.
That is something it seems Manchester United are aware of and so they want to dispel any doubts about the player’s future with a new contract.
It’s not the first time talk of a new contract has been brought up, with it claimed in England in August that talks were planned.
That is now being backed up in Spain, where they state that those talks with his agents are planned to start in the next few days.
