Fabio Paratici is set to end his lengthy suspension soon and is expected to return to work with Tottenham, but now his son is the one grabbing headlines in Italy.

16-year-old Lorenzo Paratici joined AS Roma’s U20s side from Sampdoria in the summer transfer window.

The Giallorossi organised a friendly game against local side Roma City to help some first-team players get up to speed. The young midfielder featured in the tie and grabbed ‘3 goals in 60 minutes’ during a dominating 8-0 win.

While some were particularly keen on seeing Lorenzo Pellegrini play, it was Paratici who grabbed most attention even though he’d never played with his teammates.

Gazzetta dello Sport note his performance today, adding that the former Tottenham sporting director’s son also hit the post.

The young midfielder idolises Cristiano Ronaldo, having seen him from up close when the Portuguese attacker was working with his father at Juventus.

With Paratici tipped to return to Tottenham in a working capacity once his ban ends, this is a potential rise to stardom to keep an eye on.
