West Ham are close to wrapping up a deal for Juventus’ Simone Zaza. Slaven Bilic admitted yesterday there is an agreement between the two clubs for the Italian striker.
According to Italian website Calciomercato, Zaza has completed his medical examinations at West Ham, and now all parties just need to sign the contract.
Earlier, Juventus had accepted an offer of €25m plus €3m in bonuses from West Ham for Zaza.
The 25-year-old has also agreed to a five year contract offer from West Ham worth €3.5m/season.
The Hammers have been actively looking to sign a striker in the transfer window, and would be delighted to finally get Zaza on board.
The Italian international rarely played at Juventus last season, as Massimiliano Allegri opted for the likes of Dybala, Morata, and Mandzukic.
However, Zaza was on the wishlist of several clubs as he put in few impressive performances for Juventus in the few chances he got last season with the Serie A club.
