Real Sociedad are interested in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers Gonçalo Guedes this summer, according to multiple claims.
Last season, the forward’s game time was limited, and his situation didn’t improve a lot after Vítor Pereira’s arrival at Molineux in December.
Real Sociedad want the Wolves player and Record reports they have made advances to sign him.
The 28-year-old is said to have an agreement with La Real to join them permanently and the two parties are sorting out the details.
Record adds the Portugal international has already completed a medical and his move to the Spanish club is expected to be made official shortly.
Tuesday’s edition of AS also reports the former Valencia man underwent medical tests with Real Sociedad yesterday. The newspaper aren’t certain whether it’ll be a loan or a permanent move.
El Diario Vasco, a newspaper local to Real Sociedad, reports the club is interested in Guedes, and his profile appeals to them. The Portugal international is aware of their interest and is open to a summer move,
La Real have held talks with Wolves to find out about the player’s situation, but the operation is ‘far from being finalised’. The report adds he hasn’t held detailed talks with Real Sociedad yet.
It’s quite possible for the attacker to undergo medical tests with Real Sociedad while they hold talks with Wolves for an agreement. However, El Diario Vasco makes no mention of a medical and state a deal for him to join Real Sociedad isn’t ‘imminent’.
