AS Roma are now showing an interest in Leicester City midfielder Boubakary Soumaré, who it is believed can be signed for €15m.
Gazzetta dello Sport cover the player today, hyping him up today and insisting he could be available for that price.
The newspaper reports that Roma are eyeing up another midfielder for Daniele de Rossi’s squad and particularly if Edoardo Bove were to leave.
Several names have been put on a list and Soumaré is one of them as he is a player who is considered ‘useful everywhere’.
They believe the midfielder, who has returned to Leicester this summer following a loan at Sevilla last season, is exactly of the level that they need.
The Verona edition of the newspaper goes a little further, who describe him as a player who is ‘all running and muscle’ and could fit perfectly into Roma’s midfield.
His ability to break up the game and do the dirty work defensively is what really attracts the Italian side to him. They’re keen, particularly at €15m, and they could ‘really attack him’ in the next few days.
They first need to sell but the idea is there, and the Leicester man is very much a target who they both like and believe can be secured.
