Aston Villa and Leeds United have shown interest in Stade Brestois goalkeeper Marco Bizot, according to multiple claims from France.
The Netherlands international has been the first-choice stopper for the Ligue 1 club since joining them in 2021. He has a year left on his contract and his future is likely to be away from Stade Brestois.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, and they provide the latest on Aston Villa and Leeds.
It’s claimed the Whites are in the running to sign the 34-year-old this summer, but they could miss out on him to Unai Emery’s side.
Bizot is attracting significant interest from Aston Villa, who are currently in pole position to acquire his signature.
Foot Mercato state they are expected to seal the operation despite Leeds United interest. They are unclear if he’ll replace Emiliano Martínez to become the new No.1 at Villa Park.
