Victor Lindelof has not had a great season at Manchester United so far.

The Swedish defender has played only 58 minutes in the Premier League in this campaign, making seven appearances across all competitions before succumbing to an injury during the November international break. It was his second injury of the season.

There’s been doubts about his future in recent months, with Lindelof’s Manchester United contract running out in the summer of 2025.

Calciomercato.it have looked at the defender’s situation, with journalist Graziano Campi having spoken to the outlet’s Youtube channel about Juventus’ potential interest in Lindelof.

He said: “There are many names in defence; in my opinion there could be Lindelof from United and watch out for the Red Devils who want to do some market operations with Juventus, but more in the summer.”

Campi further suggested other deals that could involve Manchester United and Juventus.

“A Vlahovic-Zirkzee swap in my opinion is absolutely not science fiction because Vlahovic has not yet renewed. If he were to renew, let’s remember that he is the Serie A striker who has scored the most goals in 2024.”

While it remains to be seen if the Red Devils will open up to Joshua Zirkzee’s exit only half a season after his arrival, Lindelof is someone that Ruben Amorim’s side can move on from.

He hasn’t been a regular in the past two seasons, playing 19 times in the Premier League last season, and featuring 20 times in the 2022/23 season.
