Jurgen Klopp allowed Divock Origi go out on loan to Wolfsburg last season, but that didn’t help him to get a move away from Liverpool in the summer.

At Anfield, he’s behind several big stars in the pecking order, meaning it’s no surprise his playing time will be limited with the Reds.

So far, he has played for 11 minutes for the Merseyside club this season and that came in the Champions League defeat to Red Star Belgrade.

According to Het Nieuwsblad, his restricted time on the pitch shouldn’t dampen his chances of returning to the Belgium squad.

It’s claimed the former Lille man is seen as a ‘hopeful’ to be included in De Rode Duivels’ side for November’s UEFA Nations League clash against Switzerland and Iceland.

Roberto Martinez could turn towards Origi as an alternative for Romelu Lukaku as the Manchester United striker is currently sidelined with an injury.

The Liverpool player last represented his country in March and a call-up from Belgium could do a lot of good for his confidence.
