Federico Dimarco
Madrid, Spain – 11 26 2025: Federico Dimarco seen during Champions League league phase game between Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan

On Thursday, Sport Witness covered TuttoSport’s claim about Manchester United’s interest in Juventus’ Pierre Kalulu.

The Turin newspaper claimed the Red Devils will have scouts present at the San Siro during Juve’s game against Inter Milan on Saturday. This will give the Old Trafford side a chance to keep a close eye on the French defender.

All of this was happening amidst Juve’s attempts to hand Kalulu a new contract. He is having an impressive season under Luciano Spalletti, starring at right-back.

Sport Witness also clarified that links surrounding Manchester United could be a way for Kalulu’s entourage to rush Juve into a renewal.

Now, it seems like the Red Devils have their eye on another Serie A star.

Dimarco on Manchester United’s radar

Today’s TuttoSport takes an extensive look at Manchester United’s scouting mission on Saturday. They believe Michael Carrick’s side will look at not one but two players, describing the mission as ‘007 at San Siro’.

The second player they will scout is wing-back Federico Dimarco. The newspaper take note of the Italian’s exceptional numbers this season. He has 13 Serie A assists, grabbing seven of them in 2026.

This has alarmed Manchester United. Even if Inter are very likely to extend his current deal until 2030, Carrick’s side will still be scouting him on Saturday.

There is an agreement over rough terms of the renewal. Dimarco is expected to earn €5.5m in that and Inter feel this will be enough to deter the Red Devils.

TuttoSport no strangers to using Manchester United

The newspaper are no strangers to using Manchester United to drum up interest in Italian players and managers. This is usually done to raise the player values and spark clubs to take action over new deals.

Besides, TuttoSport make it clear that there is an ‘unbreakable love’ between Dimarco and Inter. There is certainty that he will not leave anytime soon, rendering interest from England rather useless.

If anything, it will only help the player command a higher wage – especially in the light of recent performances.

Quite the same can apply for Kalulu, who has risen in stature in the last few weeks.
