According to a report in the Belgian media, Nacer Chadli is likely to leave West Bromwich Albion this summer.
In recent weeks the attacker has been linked with a move to Turkey with Besiktas, but a move to a major European League can’t be ruled says HLN.
The Belgian newspaper have reported on Chadli’s decision to sign for West Brom from Tottenham Hotspur, saying it was a mistake to move to the Hawthorns.
With the Baggies now in the Championship, the Belgium international is expected to leave the club and with his performances in Russia, HLN believe there will be plenty of clubs in the race to sign him.
Besktias are the only club to show a real interest in Chadli so far, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if he starts to be linked with moves to Spain, Germany or Italy.
Spain is said to ‘intrigue’ the player, ‘Italy and Germany too’, and it’s ‘just a matter of making the right choice, WBA was not’. A an exit from English football is said to be preferable.
There are claims the player has a €19m release clause given West Brom’s relegation.
