According to Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Kasimpasa attacker Trezeguet has told Galatasaray he wants to speak with English clubs before making a final decision on his future.

The Egyptian international has been linked with a move to England in recent weeks, and it’s claimed Aston Villa and Newcastle United are in the mix to sign the player.

Fanatik say Galatasaray have an agreement in principle with Trezeguet and the 23 year old has reportedly said yes to Turkish club’s €2m a season offer.

However, Trezeguet has told Galatasaray board that he wants to speak with Newcastle United and Aston Villa before signing a contract as the two English clubs are reportedly chasing the winger.

According to claims, Trezeguet now has 10 days to decide if he’ll sign for Galatasaray, and he’ll do so after speaking the clubs mentioned.

With Egypt now eliminated from the World Cup Trezeguet can concentrate on his next career move.

The Kasimpasa winger has a €5m release clause in his contract, and the forward has also been linked with other English clubs this summer, including Leicester City and Wolves.

Trezeguet played 31 games in the Turkish Super Lig last season, scoring 13 goals.
