Tuttosport are nothing if not optimistic on behalf of Juventus and the Italian club’s chances of pulling off transfers.
Bored of simply chasing after Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian, they’re now linking four of the club’s players with possible moves to Turin.
Darmian is considered pretty much done. A good relationship between Ed Woodward and Juven’s Beppe Marotta has seen ‘white smoke’ on the transfer, which means it’s happening… unless something surprising happens.
To add to that, Tuttosport have been pushing Anthony Martial for a while. Now ‘negotiations are heating up’ on the player’s Manchester United future, and Juventus could be an option.
Carrying on with the optimism, it’s stated Jose Mourinho has discarded the player and the price will start at €50m, although there’s worry about an auction.
The there’s Paul Pogba, but his wages are thought to be a major barrier and Juve would be looking at a loan if they did make an effort… so that’s not happening.
And even Marouane Fellaini gets a mention, almost entirely because his contract expires at the end of June and Juve love a bargain.
Darmian, yes, that looks likely. Martial, less likely but it’s feeling increasingly possible. Fellaini and Pogba? Probably not.
