Konstantinos Tsimikas’ fine displays for Olympiacos during the 2019/20 season helped him get a move to Liverpool last summer.
Brought in as a backup for Andrew Robertson, the left-back was restricted to only seven matches, which included only two substitute appearances in the league.
For the past week or so, reports coming out of Italy have talked about Napoli wanting to sign in the 23-year-old, with Gazzetta dello Sport even stating the player is considering saying ‘yes’ to the Serie A side.
Using only a few words, the journalist said “he won’t come” because “Napoli won’t take him” when responding to the possibility of Jürgen Klopp’s defender arriving at Napoli this summer.
With the Italian club seemingly ruling out a move for Tsimikas, the player must find a new side this summer, if he wants to enjoy more playing time next season.
