After all the shopping madness that Wolverhampton Wanderers have been through in the past few months, it seems that it’s their time to defend the squad from some other buyers.

The Championship side first resisted to sell Roderick Miranda back to Portugal, and now it seems there’s some Italian interest in one of their players.

According to Corriere Dello Sport today, Fiorentina will still try to sign a few players in the last week of the transfer window, and Wolves midfielder Romain Saiss would be one of them.

Despite calling Saiss ‘the Moroccan midfielder inspired by Sergio Busquets’, Corriere doesn’t bring much information on how much La Viola would be ready to pay, or if a bid is coming in the next few days.

Saiss has been a regular starter under Nuno Espírito Santo, and a vital piece in midfield in the current campaign.

Now would he really give up on the chance for the Premier League promotion to play for Fiorentina? There’s just a few days left of the window to find out.
