On Thursday, Coluna do Fla reported Wolverhampton Wanderers are on the move to sign Flamengo’s Evertton Araújo. They also explained Sevilla, Getafe, Villarreal and Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in him.

Vítor Pereira identified the 22-year-old as a target after arriving at Molineux in December and Wolves have shown interest in him since then.

The Premier League club have decided to take further steps to get ahead of other clubs in the transfer race.

That’s according to Bolavip Brasil, who state Wolves will ‘formalise a €10m offer’ for the midfielder.

Pereira previously managed the player at Flamengo, and Bolvaip indicate this could give Wolves an advantage. This is likely what the English club may feel, but they won’t be able to secure his services for €10m.

The Brazilian club insist they’ll negotiate for a fee close to the player’s €40m release clause. In other words, Wolves’ €10m bid won’t be entertained and they need to offer much more than that to sign Evertton Araújo.

Wolves have to significantly improve that bid if they wish to sign the player requested by their manager.
