Prince Oniangue signed for Wolves on a four year contract in mid August. The then 27 year old was arriving from French club Reims, who last season finished 18th in France’s Ligue 1 and were subsequently relegated to Ligue 2.

Oniangue hasn’t had the games at Wolves that he would have wished for, and hasn’t had the impact the club themselves would have hoped for when they did the deal. Whilst it’s still early into the midfielder’s career at Wolves, he could be leaving on loan already.

It would be a straight loan for the 28 year old without Bastia having an option or obligation of purchase at the end of the season.

Bastia are a Ligue 1 club and also come with the added attraction of being on the island of Corsica, a nice mid season chance from Wolverhampton.
