According to claims in the Belgian media, Waasland-Beveren defender Erdin Demir is still receiving interest from clubs outside the country.
The Swede has been linked with Wolves recently, with the claims starting in Sweden a couple of weeks ago. His agent also confirmed interest from other clubs, and that the player’s future would be sorted soon.
HLN report Demir could leave before the end of the month, and a move to the Championship or Germany is a possibility.
Demir has just 12 months left on his contract with Waasland-Beveren, and the Jupiler League side are looking to cash in on the 27 year old.
After the Swedish link to Wolves, Panathinaikos are now reportedly keen on the defender, according to HLN, and the Greek side want to get a deal completed as soon as possible.
Ryan Bennett, Barry Douglas, Ruben Neves, Phil Ofosu-Ayeh and Roderick have already arrived at Molineux this summer, but Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo will likely add further to his squad.
Wolves’ aim is to get promotion to the Premier League, after the investment they’ve made this summer.
