Wolverhampton Wanderers star Adama Traore is set to complete a return to Barcelona, with a loan deal now agreed between the two clubs.
That’s according to journalist Gerard Romero, who say the Wolves man is expected back at the Nou Camp ‘barring an unexpected twist’.
Traore has been linked with a return to Barcelona for the last week or so, with the Catalan giants determined to add to their forward line before the end of the transfer window.
Reports earlier today stated that they were working on a deal with Wolves, with a loan the preferred option but a permanent move still on the table.
It now appears they have struck an agreement with those in charge at Molineux, with Romero reporting that they have ‘closed the loan deal’ for the Wolves winger until the end of the season.
According to his information, the deal is ‘on good terms’ for the La Liga club, although he makes no mention of the finances involved at this point.
He says the deal is ‘on the margins’ of what happens with Ousmane Dembele, which we assume means it has nothing to do with the Frenchman and Barcelona’s efforts to get rid of him.
That suggests it will happen regardless, with there a growing confidence in Spain that Traore will be returning to his former club this month.
