Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Helder Costa has unsurprisingly confirmed he’s enjoying his spell with the Championship side. Costa signed for Wolves from Benfica last summer, initially on loan, and the attacker has been one of the standout players for the West Midlands club this season.

Speaking to FourFourTwo after being named in their top 30 best EFL players of the season, the Wolves player spoke about the great time he’s had since arriving in England. Costa said his aim now is to help Wolves get back into the top flight because the supporters have backed him and the team.

“I’m enjoying every moment at Wolves and know I want to work to get them back up to the Premier League. The fans have been incredible to me and the team,” said the Wolves star.

Wolves spent heavily in the transfer window, with super-agent Jorge Mendes helping to bring in players from Portugal, including Costa from Benifca.

However, under former manager Walter Zenga Wolves started the season slowly, and will now have to wait until the next campaign to have a chance of getting promotion to the Premier League.
