Just like in England and Italy, the rumours about the future of Raúl Jiménez have been getting a lot of attention in Mexico as well.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers star is currently his country’s most famous footballer, so the local media has been pretty excited to see him involved in a big move this summer.

Jiménez has been interviewed by actress Jessica Coch this week, and was directly asked about the transfer market’s gossip. He  claims to be enjoying it all.

“It’s something very cool, I don’t know if they are true, they are rumours. Since they are talking about me, different teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool… They are teams that in the history of football are important”, said the striker (via Bolavip).

“That they are mentioning you there, whether you want to or not, some rumour will come to them as well so there it can be opened. It’s an incredible thing to be on the radar, be rumours there, and on the lips of those teams. It’s something good to continue growing, making an effort and taking it as an incentive so that, if possible, give even more to achieve it.”

Outlet Bolavip is the one who covers the quotes, and given how open Raúl Jiménez was to talk about the rumours, the story didn’t even have to name the clubs who’ve been interested in him.

There’s been some recent controversy in the Mexican media about whether Jiménez would be good enough to play for top European sides or not, but it looks like the Wolves star isn’t really concerned about it.
