Goncalo Guedes is represented by Gestifute, the agency founded by super-agent Jorge Mendes.

That means he’s continuously linked with a move to Wolves, given how much business Mendes has carried out with the Premier League club in recent years.

Guedes’ current contract with Valencia expires in June 2023, so this summer is decision time for the player’s future. Without a renewal, a sale will be on the cards

According to Estadio Deportivo, he’s edging into the thoughts of Barcelona and Real Madrid, although that feels unlikely. Sevilla were linked last summer, but Valencia asked too high a price.

Bruno Lage’s Wolves and AS Roma, where Gestifute client Jose Mourinho is manager, have ‘seriously sounded him out’ about a transfer.

There’s no suggestion of what the Spanish club would demand in terms of a transfer fee. Guedes has 13 goals and five assists so far this season, playing in a variety of attacking roles for Valencia.

Wolves will likely be linked more as the summer window gets closer.
