According to a claim in the Turkish media, Gaziantep are showing an interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Chiquinho.
The 24-year-old has loaned out to Famalicão last season, and he’s been the subject of strong interest from Sporting this summer.
Gaziantep Pusula have reported on the Super Lig side’s pursuit for the Wolves player, and they say a loan offer has been made to the Premier League club. Gaziantep are looking to bolster their squad in this transfer window, but it’s claimed their offer has been rejected by Wolves.
We recently covered reports on Sporting’s interest in Chiquinho, which explained his performances during pre-season have made it difficult for the English club to sell him this summer.
Gary O’Neil has reportedly been impressed with the winger in recent weeks and he could be useful player next season for the Wolves boss.
Chiquinho made 27 appearances whilst out on loan with Famalicão, scoring five goals, that was after he was recalled from a Stoke City loan which hadn’t worked out well.
He’s contracted to Wolves until June 2026.
