For months, the Catalan media have reported Barcelona are planning to cash in from Jean-Clair Todibo’s sale this summer.
He’s been linked with clubs across Europe, and from England, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Everton, Leicester City, Southampton and Watford have all been credited with an interest in the defender.
Today’s edition of Mundo Deportivo has a short update on AC Milan and Wolves interest in the centre-back, and their title reads ‘Milan and Wolverhampton push for Todibo’.
Within the report, it’s explained the Serie A side could turn towards the 20-year-old, if they fail to sign Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenković. Nuno Espírito Santo’s side also have an interest in the Frenchman.
The two clubs, however, would want to sign the player on a loan deal with a purchase option. This may not suit Barcelona as they were hoping for €25m from Todibo’s sale.
Although there are several clubs interested in him, Mundo state none of the suitors have met the Blaugrana’s transfer demands so far.
Ronald Koeman could consider including Todibo in his plans, if Samuel Umtiti leaves the Camp Nou this summer.
