Finally.

There’s ‘white smoke’ on Patrick Cutrone moving to Fiorentina, report both TMW and Sky Italia.

Having not got the chances he hoped for under Nuno Espirito Santo this season, the striker has been heavily linked with a return to Serie A in recent weeks.

Several clubs were presented as contenders, and that was clearly narrowed down to Fiorentina towards the end of December. It had been hoped a deal could be done sooner, however, the Italian media believe Wolves have been difficult to negotiate with.

TMW state Cutrone will ‘most likely’ have a medical with the Tuscany club on Friday, and it’s not thought there’s going to be any issue in that regard.

As has been reported constantly over the past two days, Fiorentina will take the player on an 18 month loan from Wolves with an obligation to then sign him permanently.

Sky Italia also say an agreement has been reached, however, they don’t mention when the medical will take place.
