Wolverhampton Wanderers have allowed Ki-Jana Hoever to go out on loan since the start of the 2022/23 season.
The 22-year-old joined PSV Eindhoven in June 2022, but he struggled with them. This saw Wolves cut short his stay at PSV and send him out on loan to Stoke City in January 2023.
His temporary stay at Stoke City was extended last summer, and the right-back had a good spell in the Championship. Hoever made 61 appearances, of which 44 were from last season.
The Dutchman has returned to Molineux, but his agent is working on taking him away from Wolves. That’s according to TransferInsideNL, who state the fullback’s representative has offered him to FC Twente.
It’s further explained that ‘discussions are ongoing’ between Twente and the agent over a potential deal.
This claim is relayed by Twente Insite, who then give their take on how the Dutch club could possibly try to sign the Wolves player this summer.
Hoever has a contract with Wolves lasting until 2026 and Transfermarkt values him at €4.5m.
The Eredivisie side could be looking to sign him on a loan deal. If Gary O’Neil’s side want to get rid of him to save on his wages, there’s a possibility for Twente to buy him for less than his current valuation.
