Wolverhampton Wanderers allowed Rafa Mir to spend last season on loan with Las Palmas, where he managed seven goals and an assist.

The forward had several opportunities to continue in Spain, but he decided to join Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan deal.

Mir’s move to the Championship hasn’t worked out well as the attacker has played for 212 minutes in the league and has only two starts to his name.

According to Marca, the 22-year-old could put an end to his time with Sabri Lamouchi’s side and return to Spain in the winter market.

It’s claimed the Wolves owned player is listening to offers from La Liga clubs and Segunda División sides. His idea is to join a club where he can start enjoying regular minutes.

Osasuna, Eibar or Mallorca were all interested in the last window, but one club has come forward for Mir now; Real Zaragoza. The newspaper states they have persistently knocked on the door to sign him.

Marca states ‘Given the situation, we have to wait to learn the fate of one of the most promising strikers in Spanish football’.

Mir doesn’t lack options as he continues to draw attention from England, Holland, Russia and Turkey.
